Weekly Briefing 1/10/21

The Forecast has had pilot metals positions since Q4 2020. Metals are explosive and unpredictable and can catch traders off guard when they finally breakout. We witnessed this in the second half of July when metals made their largest moves in years in a short two-week span.  No system is 100%, but we believe ours is as close to it as they come regarding metals.  We have a window of time we are watching for a slingshot move in metals. It should occur over the next 30-40 days.  Triggering long positions at the right time may mean entering gold at $1700 or $1800. We are not certain $1700 will be reached. A retest of the prior low, $1760, or a higher low is possible. We will alert members to add leverage for a large trending move into Q2 and possibly as late as early Q3.

Bullion banks attacked hard late last week. Metals were rejected right on cue when sentiment became excessive early last week.  We have been telling our Gold Members to expect precisely this for weeks.  One last buying opportunity is approaching before the slingshot move occurs.

Note the lower highs in sentiment. We may be in store for an ‘everything pullback’ into the end of January.
